The Fourth of July holds special meaning for individuals like Sergio De La Cruz, who serves both for his company and his country.<\/p>\n

Since 2020, Sergio has been an insulation installer at Kinzler Construction Services\u2019 Ankeny branch. At the same time, he serves as a military 88M Motor Transport Operator – a disciplined, technical expert who provides essential motor transportation support for personnel and cargo across various terrains and in combat operations. Sergio returned from active duty last August.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on his journey, Sergio recalls the transformative impact of basic training, where he learned valuable life lessons about resilience and the importance of not taking civilians lives for grants. \u201cThe military environment is a difficult environment, but through God\u2019s grace I have experienced joy in the hardship of it all\u201d he says.<\/p>\n

Balancing a successful military career with another profession isn\u2019t easy.
