WD Door has their headquarters in Ankeny \u2013 with a second location in Cedar Rapids, known as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/doorsbygeorge.com\/\">Doors by George<\/a>. The acquisition was effective January 1.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt the start of the pandemic, if you asked us to look forward, I don\u2019t think we would have expected this outcome,\u201d said Tanner Kinzler, President &amp; CEO of Kinzler Construction Services. \u201cHowever, the construction pipeline has remained strong and this merger further strengthens our ability to serve builders and homeowners across the state of Iowa and beyond.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kinzler Construction Services is a family and\u00a0employee-owned\u00a0construction subcontractor based in Ankeny, with branch locations across Iowa in Ames, Cedar Rapids, and Waterloo \u2013 as well as Denver, CO and Tyler, TX. Kinzler installs insulation products, gypsum concrete and fireproofing. The company also distributes a full line of construction materials, including drywall, steel framing, acoustical ceiling tile &amp; EIFS.<\/p>\n<p>WD Door has developed a reputation built on quality and service, led by Steve Bouchard and Jeff Myers, who will continue to lead the overhead door division of the business as General Managers well into the future.
